Early Childhood Education & Care Traineeships

We offer qualifications for anyone wishing to commence or enhance their career in the early childhood sector. Both our Certificate III and Diploma reflects the role of workers in a range of early childhood education settings who work within the requirements of the education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standards. Students will learn the implementation of an approved learning framework, and support children’s wellbeing, learning and development. Depending on the setting educators may work under direct supervision or autonomously in full day centres, occasional care facilities, reaches and early learning centres as an Early Childhood Educator.

Students will receive assessments to complete based on their current role (employee or placement volunteer) and daily tasks. Assessments will be marked by their trainer who will visit the student once a month at their workplace and communicate with them throughout the month. There is no need to attend campus or classes, except for a one-day first aid course held on our Clayton campus.
